Kellen Davis will not be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

Though disappointing, the result was expected.

The Bears extended Davis a two year offer he couldn’t refuse; knowing that he had a starting job in Chicago.

The Steelers now must look elsewhere to fill the need at tight end. The help may have to come very late in the draft, but don’t rule out the team signing a veteran just yet.

Zach Potter might be a good fit in Pittsburgh.

Wink wink.
